so persuasive
Wishing that I could get the pictures up - but alas, the folks is Siam Square (from the guesthouses to the internet cafes) do not like allowing me to do so.
As stated in last night's post, Ericka made a brash decision to get her hair cut by a l'oreal pro. This turned out to be a pretty good idea.
We went and saw Seven Swords, a Chinese action flick. It rode the thin line between corny and completely rockin' martial arts movie. At 100 baht ($2.50) a pop, you can't really step to it. After the previous (holy moses, red eye actually looks entertaining?) the Thai national anthem began, and everyone in the theater rose to their feet as the movie screen showed the lifetime of the king.
Today's been a blur, with shopping shopping cheap cheap bartering. Ericka's ventured off on her own because I can't take much more. I'm listening to Emery next to the salon, which is next to the heavy metal store, next to the DJ school, next to the tattoo shop, next to the movie theater. I like Bangkok.
Tomorrow we're off to Tokyo. We've got to get to a post office to send all this crap home.
Sorry folks, there's tuk-tuk shirts, but they're definitely not cool (even in that so uncool that it's cool kind of way).
